Finland's passenger rail services are operated by government-owned company VR.
If you can't find a direct train connection to Kiuruvesi, try searching connection to Iisalmi first. From there you can easily get to Kiuruvesi either by bus or another train!

1. Buy your tickets online or mobile www.vr.fi
2. Download VR Matkalla app from App Store or Google Play
3. Call VR's customer care tel. 0600 41 900, book tickets and pick them up from R-kioski.

When looking for bus routes to Kiuruvesi, try searching connection to Iisalmi first. From there you can easily get to Kiuruvesi either by bus or another train!

The closest airport is Kuopio airport, located about 120 km from Kiuruvesi. From the airport you can either rent a car or take a local bus to Kuopio city centre where you can access train or long distance bus.
